Terms of Use

What to expect when buying a digital report, how to resolve a problem with your order, and the terms that apply when you use our research.

Website and publisher status

You can read our public research from anywhere without buying a report. These terms cover this website, our free Study overviews and the digital reports we offer for sale through our online shop.

Pufferfish Research Group publishes this website and its research. In these notices, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the publisher. We handle our own shop orders, complaints and requests about personal information.

For general questions, privacy requests, complaints or corrections, contact [email protected]. Please avoid sending identity documents, passwords, account numbers or other sensitive information in an initial email.

Buying a digital report

When a report goes on sale, choose “Browse the store” in the site menu. Select the edition and complete your order in our shop. Open “My orders” to download the files included with your purchase.

We sell company research and options strategy reports as PDF files. Buying a report does not open an options position or place a trade on your behalf. Check the language and edition before paying. A title marked forthcoming is not yet available for purchase.

We accept paid report orders only where we have opened sales to residents and local law permits the sale. Eligibility depends on where you ordinarily reside.

The same rule applies to orders arranged by email or paid on-chain. Your statutory rights still apply if we accept an order in error. Readers everywhere can browse our free research and email [email protected].

Before you pay, our shop will show the edition, language, file format, license, total price, currency, applicable fees, delivery arrangements and refund terms. Keep the order confirmation.

When sales open, our shop will settle payments on-chain. Check the asset, network and total amount before confirming. A confirmed transfer generally cannot be reversed on the network. If we owe you a refund, we will issue it even if a separate transfer is needed.

Digital report refunds, exchanges and cancellation

Once we deliver the digital report you ordered, we do not offer a refund or exchange solely because you changed your mind. Your statutory cancellation and refund rights and any more generous terms of your order still apply.

If the PDF never arrives, will not open, is the wrong title, language or edition, or materially differs from our description, email [email protected] with your order reference and a description of the problem. Write to the same address about a duplicate charge or to request a written copy of our refund policy. Depending on the issue and applicable law, you may be entitled to delivery, a working copy, a price reduction, cancellation or a refund.

If a statutory cancellation period applies to your order, we will explain its duration before you pay. For delivery during that period, we will obtain any express consent and acknowledgment the law requires and send confirmation in a form you can keep. Accepting these terms or sending payment alone does not waive a statutory right to cancel.

To exercise a withdrawal right, email us a clear request to cancel and identify the order. Where the law requires an online withdrawal function, we will also make it available in our shop while the right can be exercised. Your rights if the file is faulty or misdescribed continue after download.

General research, not an individual advisory service

Financial content is provided for general information and research. It is not intended as investment advice or as a recommendation that any investment or strategy is suitable for you. This website does not provide personalized investment advice.

Publications present their authors’ analyses, opinions and conditional scenarios. They are intended for a broad readership and are not tailored to your finances, portfolio, objectives, experience or risk tolerance. An investment thesis, rating or valuation is not an assessment of whether a transaction is suitable for you.

Reading or discussing this research does not, by itself, establish an advisory or fiduciary relationship. The website does not provide personalized investment, legal or tax advice, discretionary asset management, trade execution or custody of investment funds. Seek appropriately qualified independent advice when your situation requires it.

A website notice does not establish a regulatory exemption or remove obligations that arise from the actual activities of a publisher or author.

Copyright and permitted use

Copyright protects the original wording of our research and the original illustrations, chart designs, and selection or arrangement of material in our publications to the extent they qualify for protection. Rights belong to the publisher, authors or other rights holders as applicable. You may use market facts, publicly reported numbers, ideas and methods to develop and publish your own independent analysis. Cited sources and journal articles remain subject to their own rights and licenses.

You may read and link to our free Study overviews. When you buy a PDF, you may download, retain, print and annotate it for your own reading and professional research. Purchasing a copy does not transfer copyright. If your order expressly grants a team or other license, the uses stated in that license are also permitted.

Unless the applicable license or law permits it, obtain the rights holder’s written permission before circulating the PDF to colleagues or clients, uploading it to a shared drive, posting screenshots of report pages, or republishing, translating for distribution or reselling protected material. Crediting the source alone does not authorize these uses. Lawful quotation, criticism, fair use, fair dealing and other applicable exceptions remain available. When citing a report, identify the title, edition and any publicly credited author.

To request permission or tell us where you found an unauthorized copy, email [email protected] with the title, edition and the relevant pages or links. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your inquiry.

Responsible website access

Use the website lawfully and respect the rights of others. Do not attempt unauthorized access to private systems or data, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, or deliberately disrupt access for other readers.

These restrictions address abuse. They do not prohibit ordinary browsing, lawful citation, accessibility tools, web indexing or lawful automated research that respects access controls and does not materially disrupt the website. Access permission does not replace any separate permission needed to reuse copyrighted material.

Do not send confidential evidence, identity documents, account credentials or other sensitive information through an unverified channel. The public research website is not a confidential reporting service.

Research limitations and availability

Research depends on its sources, dates, methods and assumptions. Information may become outdated or prove incomplete, and reasonable analysts may disagree. Read the original work and its limitations; summaries are reading aids rather than substitutes for the full argument. Our research disclosures explain how we distinguish evidence from assumptions.

We do not promise uninterrupted website access, error-free third-party sources or any particular investment, technical or commercial result. These limitations do not excuse a misleading description, remove a legal standard that applies to supplied content or services, or take away a remedy available under applicable law.

Public pages may be corrected, updated or temporarily restricted for maintenance, security or legal reasons. Material research revisions should identify the version and date. A change to public availability does not cancel rights already granted under a separate license or transaction.

External links and third-party material

References and external links provide sources or further context. They do not imply endorsement, affiliation or approval. Other operators control their own websites, content and services, which may change independently of this website.

Check the destination and its terms and privacy information before providing data or obtaining a service. This explanation does not exclude responsibility we may have for our own statements, conduct or obligations concerning a third-party service.

Responsibility and rights that remain protected

You decide whether to trade and bear the market losses on trades you choose to make. Buying a report does not guarantee a return or entitle you to reimbursement for a trading loss merely because a forecast was wrong. The publisher remains responsible for its own conduct under applicable law, including misleading statements and any duties that cannot lawfully be waived.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Mandatory consumer protections remain available, including any applicable rights concerning descriptions, content quality, refunds, repair, replacement, price reduction or other remedies.

Updates, questions and dispute rights

We may update these terms when the website or applicable requirements change, or to clarify existing provisions. The date at the top shows when we last revised the terms, and material changes should be brought to readers’ attention. Updates apply going forward; they do not retrospectively rewrite a transaction or remove rights already granted.

These terms do not select an exclusive court, require arbitration or prevent you from using a court, consumer authority or other remedy available under applicable law. They do not set an artificial time limit for bringing a complaint or claim. If a restriction cannot be enforced, that does not reduce your applicable rights.

Use the publisher contact information above for questions or complaints. This does not require an informal complaint before using a legal remedy or extend a deadline imposed by law.
